The City Promised us “an integrated, mixed-use village with an enjoyable and vital pedestrian shopping environment rather than an automobile-oriented place including shade producing street trees and other landscaping and amenities such as benches, planters, fountains, lighting and pavement treatment, attractive to pedestrians, with, crosswalks, landscape planting circles and other “traffic calming” design features.”

But Now the City Planning Department wants to give us a 32-foot Tall Industrial appearing Storage Building, the size of Two-Football Fields with a Big-Box store feel.  Typically, personal storage facility within the City are found hidden behind retail centers or in industrial zoned areas of the City.
